EMERGENCY SHELTER
FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN
SAGE's emergency shelter is more than just a shelter...it's a temporary home and safe haven.

From the outside you would never guess that we are a shelter, take one step inside and you will notice that the inside matches the outside. We have taken significant steps to create a warm and calming environment that will promote healing and growth. We want clients to use the limited amount of time that they have in our shelter to think about their future goals and start developing a plan. Your advocate will be available to help you through the steps.
We are located in a completely confidential location to ensure the safety of our clients. We have a very limited number of beds and rooms so it is important to check in with an advocate to determine eligibility and availability.
WHAT TO EXPECT:

THE SCREEN
After you request emergency residential housing, an advocate will conduct an interview to assess the immediate safety concern and the need for services. If you are eligible, we will schedule a screening to further determine eligibility.

THE RULES
At the screening, the advocate will explain the confidentiality requirements and responsibilities for moving into our shelter.

IF APPROVED
Once you have been accepted into our shelter and agree to the requirements, an advocate will work with you to schedule a move-in date based on safety and availability.
